Michael FrancisTHOMASPassed away peacefully at home on 29 December 19 following a short illness. Beloved husband to the late Janet, loving father and fantastic Grandad. A much loved brother to the late Patsy, Jim, Pete and the late John, he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Details for the service will follow. We all know that he and mum are now reunited playing Scrabble every afternoon at 4. Phil, Mark and Lizzi.

Dearest Mike, I miss our spirited correspondence and exchange of music, jokes and political thoughts. I looked forward every day to reading your witty quips and analytical expertise. Your knowledge seemed to be infinite. You exercised all your bragging rights when it came to Phill, Dan, Mark, Liz and your grandchildren. RIP, your old flame from Sycamore Road in the fifties.
